Jason Wii

My name is Jason Wii. I am the son of Bill Wii and the grandson of Mei and Dick Wii. I was raised on Aotea by my grandparents.

I currently live in Auckland and work in the construction industry.

I am married to Jeanine McCauley Wii who is the great granddaughter of Sarah Jane Edlington and Tame Ngawaka.

I am a father of 4 children and 2 older step-children and I have 8 beautiful Moko.

Jeanine and I will be building our home in Kawa on Aotea this year so I am really keen to support Kawa Marae.

I feel that I have some experience to offer as I previously served on Hato Petera’s Board Of Trustee for 3 years with 2 of them as the Deputy Chairman. I am currently an Interim Trustee on the Ngati Rehua Ngatiwai Ki Aotea Trust Board and I am also a member of the Aotea Conservation Park Advisory Committee.

I wish to contribute my time and energy to Kawa Marae and all its beneficiaries wherever I can.
